MACKINAC ISLAND THREE-DAY WEEKEND . . . and the 2010 Lilac Festival Friday - Sunday June 11 - 13, 2010 $429 per person ($80 single supplement) Mackinac Island is a beautiful village where motor vehicles are
prohibited. Transportation is generally by horse-drawn vehicles . . . and that’s
just how you’ll be met at the boat dock on our tour of the island by a
horse-drawn carriage which gives you a narrated history of this unique
destination. Mackinac Island proclaims to be an “all natural” America where its
real Victorian image is presented with its 500 permanent residents maintaining
the bluff cottages in their original state. The historic, natural beauty has
been honored by National Geographic and its especially colorful during the Lilac
Festival. Our buffet luncheon should be truly memorable as it will be served in
the Grand Hotel, a beautiful historic structure that dominates the landscape.
We’ll be visiting Frankenmuth with a specialty dinner at the Bavarian Inn
(chicken plus smoked pork chop), a stop at Bronner’s Christmas Store and a
high-speed ferry service to the Island. All this for the same price as last
year. For those wanting to join in on some “action”, you’ll be able to visit to
Kewadin Casino or to browse the unique shops at Mackinaw Crossings. Willoughby, Highland Hts, Independence, Middleburg Hts, No Olmsted, Elyria, Sandusky
